Norco, CA, October 28, 2021 — Jeffrey Court Inc. the industry leader in decorative tile and stone, announced today the opening of the first-ever Jeffrey Court Signature Showroom located in Upland, California.
Maison Surface Studio, the go-to resource for artisanal tile designs, serves a key market in the previously underserved Foothill community bringing Jeffrey Court to the Inland Empire.
Part of the Dealer Support Program (DSP), the showroom was collaboratively developed and designed between Jeffrey Court’s in-house design team and Maison owners Jay and Crystal Nadeau. Studying the market to carefully highlight products that are the most attractive to the area’s customer base were key factors when designing the signature showroom.

The DSP was specifically developed to give back to dealer partners and help promote the Jeffrey Court brand, support marketing services including advertising development and spend, contribute to local designer and showroom events, and enhance their showrooms through Jeffrey Court designed merchandising programs.

Upland, Calif.-based Maison Surface Studio has announced the opening of a new showroom that also incorporates full-service design and custom tile installation services. The studio showroom includes a wide range of fully functional bath and kitchen vignettes for inspiration. Displays of sophisticated tile options—with materials ranging from glass tile, stone, ceramics, porcelain, and antique limestone—are in-stock and ready for installation on any surface.
In conjunction with the showroom, Maison Surface Studio is offering two service lines for renovations, refreshes, and new builds, from small apartments and custom luxury homes to commercial properties. The veteran design team specializes in exterior and interior projects, including kitchens, baths, spas, pools, and floors, while the professional installation team manages the tilework process from start to finish.

Unless you took French back in school, it may not be instantly obvious how to pronounce the word Maison. Given that the Maison Surface offices in Upland, California, are more than 5,600 miles from Paris, we’re very relaxed about it, but here’s the quick version: The “ai” sounds like the “e” in lesson, the “s” is pronounced as a “z,” and the “on” should sound like the “on” in the word bond (without the ending “d”). Voilà!
More important than the pronunciation, of course, is what the word maison conveys. By definition, it means “house” in French. Over time, however, high-end fashion designers have adapted the word metaphorically to expand its meaning. Maison has become shorthand to describe their so-called fashion house, where they design and manufacture clothing and accessories that set trends around the planet.
